This years event will consist of a Captains Meeting the evening of Friday, May 29, followed by live music on the grounds of the Port O'Connor Community Center.  Saturdays itinerary includes the Tails and Tunes Inshore Fishing Tournament, with a $15,000 prize purse and live music beginning at 1:00 pm during the weigh-in.  Music will continue throughout the afternoon leading into the Tournament's Award Ceremony and a presentation from Warrior's Weekend, including a salute to our American heroes.  After the presentation, live music will continue, featuring the talent of Roger Creager.

Tails & Tunes has recently selected "Warriors Weekend" as our official beneficiary.  Warriors Weekend is a group of volunteers that bring over 100 active duty American soldiers that have been wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq to Port O'Connor, Texas for a weekend of relaxation and reprieve from their daily rehabilitation.  The efforts of Tails & Tunes is designed to offset a portion of the operating expenses incurred for that event.  Please take time to visit their website at www.warriorsweekend.org
