About Tails & Tunes:
Tails & Tunes was formed by a group of friends with varied backgrounds, but unified passions:
our Country, our Freedom, and those who protect them.
Several years ago, we decided it was time to start giving back to those who have, and continue to serve our country, both here and abroad. Our focus was directed on raising contributions to support organizations which benefit the men and women of the military, law enforcement, and their families. What better way to do that than hold a fundraising event like none other on the Texas coast.
Through our various personal connections, plans were made to combine a competitive inshore fishing tournament with great food, cold beer, and live Texas Country Music. What started out as a rather “low key get together” has now become one of the outdoor communities favorite annual events. With such Headliners as Cory Morrow, Robert Earl Keen, Roger Creager, and Jason Boland, Tails & Tunes quickly made a name for itself on the Texas Country music scene as well.
With the support and generosity of our sponsors, participants, and local communities, Tails & Tunes has proudly donated over $45,000 dollars to its beneficiaries. Plans are underway for next years event and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Check back often as updates are posted.
